Youth Art Classes have successfully moved to running online via zoom, and before you dismiss the idea of another online art class for your child, please consider the following:
None of my online classes are zoom webinars. All classes have a limited number of students, are zoom meetings and are interactive in so far as is possible.
I provide personal feedback to each student who attends.
While the end result of each piece of art created is always important to the student, during the zoom classes the focus remains on the process of creating, using imagination and developing artistic expression and skills.
In most cases there will be an online teaching assistant working with me during the class
There are several Youth Art Classes running on a Saturday with each of the classes working on age appropriate content.
Students don't need to have any previous drawing, crafting or painting experience to start attending classes.
Each student gets to decide what level of interaction suits them in the class
For my online classes I only charge per household/screen
So, please get in touch if you think your child might be interested in trying an online art class. I would be very happy to talk to you and help you find the right artistic route for them!

If you don't have easy access to any of the materials below don't worry, I have a work around for most of them. If you are unsure about anything do please contact me before you spend any money, as the materials in a pencil case or around the home should do the job most of the time.

Art Classes In the Studio with Helen, for Kids & Young Adults
These classes and workshops have proved increasingly popular with children and young adults. During 'normal' times, in the relaxed, friendly, safe environment of Helens Art Studio the emphasis is on the children having fun, learning some new skills, and building confidence in visually expressing their creativity. All classes are run from Helens professional art studio, located in the Wexford Enterprise Centre, at Drinagh, on the edge of Wexford Town, (on the Rosslare Road, opposite the Renault garage). Parking is free and on mid-week days there is an excellent cafe within the building complex.
Classes can be booked on an individual or group basis. There are reductions for parents booking more than one family member.
Helen is a professional artist with extensive experience working as an art teacher and art project facilitator in schools throughout the East Coast of Ireland.
